Product Description
The Sheath Fault Tester SFL1 is designed to locate sheath/earth faults in various underground cable networks, including low, medium, high voltage power cables, and unshielded multi-core control cables. It can detect manufacturing defects or damage-induced faults that cause leakage between the metallic armor or cores and the earth. The tester offers different modes like DC test/HV Test, burning, pre-location, and pin-pointing to address these faults. It is used for conditioning, DC testing, burning, pre-locating, and pinpointing sheath faults in underground extra high voltage power cable transmission networks.
