Theben Digital SELEKTA 171 Top3 DIN Rail Time Switch 230V ac is a high-precision digital time switch designed for industrial and commercial automation applications. It features an astronomical time switch function that automatically calculates sunrise and sunset times for the entire year, allowing energy-efficient lighting and process control schedules.
This device supports offset adjustment of the astronomical switching times using geographic coordinates or selectable country/city lists, enhancing flexibility in installation. Fixed ON and OFF switching times can be programmed additionally, for example, creating night time interruptions independent of the sunrise/sunset calculation.
The astronomical mode is reversible, allowing user choice between evenings ON and mornings OFF or vice versa, or it can be completely deactivated. The unit offers 84 memory spaces with a weekly cycle and a highly precise segment length of 1 minute for accurate scheduling.
