Fluke I30S AC/DC Current Clamp (Model I30S) is designed for accurate measurement of AC and DC currents up to 20 A DC max and 20 A AC max. Utilizing Hall-effect sensing technology, it offers safe, non-intrusive current measurements ideal for both field and bench applications requiring electrical isolation.
The clamp accommodates conductor diameters up to 19mm, enabling versatile use in various electrical circuits and control systems. It features an output sensitivity of 100mV per ampere, producing a voltage output compatible with oscilloscopes and other voltage input test instruments. With an accuracy of ±1% plus 2 mA at 25°C and a frequency response up to 100kHz, the device ensures precise monitoring even at high-frequency waveform capture.
An included 2 meter cable with BNC connector ensures secure connections while the clamp operates safely within a temperature range of 0°C to 50°C. A manual thumbwheel allows zero calibration before measurements to eliminate baseline offsets.
The Fluke I30S current clamp meets stringent IEC 61326-1 standards for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and carries a CAT III 300V safety rating, suitable for many industrial, laboratory, and field applications. It is particularly useful for diagnosing DC motor drive currents, validating control circuits up to 30A, and monitoring power electronics signals.
Package includes the current clamp, alkaline PP3 battery, a 4mm shrouded plug adaptor, and an operator’s manual. Use caution with uninsulated conductors exceeding 300 V AC RMS or DC and above 1 kHz frequency.
Measures both AC and DC current utilizing Hall-effect sensing for safe, isolated measurements. High accuracy and frequency response suitable for power electronics and motor diagnostics. 2m cable and BNC connector facilitate reliable instrument interfacing.
Compact clamp fits conductors up to 19 mm diameter. Battery powered with long operation time and low-battery indication. Complies with IEC 61326-1 and rated CAT III 300V for safety.
This current clamp serves industrial maintenance, electronic testing, HVAC systems diagnostics, laboratory use, and electrical manufacturing quality control. Explore more Fluke electrical test instruments on EnvMart for comprehensive measurement solutions.
