HARTING 24020080030 Unmanaged 8 Port Ethernet Switch delivers full Gigabit Ethernet performance with Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+) capabilities in a compact, DIN rail mountable device. Engineered for industrial network infrastructure, it provides a plug & play solution combined with a very flat construction and frontal port mounting designed for space-restricted and hard-to-reach installations.

The switch includes 8 RJ-45 ports that operate as power sourcing equipment (PSE), supplying up to four terminal devices with PoE+ at 34.2 Watts per port. It supports energy-efficient Ethernet, reducing power consumption while maintaining full performance. The device’s non-blocking full Ethernet switching architecture is compliant with IEEE 802.3 standards ensuring high reliability and low latency.

Constructed with an anodised aluminium housing, this switch is protected against harsh industrial environments, complemented by surge and reverse polarity protection. It operates across a wide commercial temperature range from 0°C to 55°C and an industrial range from -40°C to +70°C.

Compatibility features include auto-negotiation, auto-polarity, and auto-MDI(X), providing seamless plug & play integration with existing networks. It supports extended Ethernet frames (jumbo frames) and up to 100m transfer length over twisted pair Cat.5 cables with speeds of 10/100 Mbit/s.
