Product Description
Eaton MTL5531/RS Zener Barrier galvanic barrier is a single-channel DIN rail mounted unit from the MTL5500 series designed for intrinsic safety interface markets.
Operating at a supply voltage range of 20 to 35 V DC and capable of handling a maximum safety current of 94 mA, this barrier offers robust explosion protection and electrical signal safeguarding in hazardous areas.
Its compact design, only 16mm wide, enables easy installation in tight spaces such as control cabinets and instrument loops. The galvanic barrier type provides high packing density and reduces power consumption.
The unit includes an LED indicator for clear display of working status, and its screw terminal type ensures reliable electrical connections. It is ATEX certified, making it suitable for use in zones requiring hazardous area compliance.
