Solartron Metrology 926226 Optimum Series LVDT sensor with 9.52mm diameter, IP43 ingress protection, and maximum operating temperature of 150°C is specially engineered for industrial process control and advanced research applications. Its compact stainless steel casing allows installation in space-constrained environments.

The Linear Variable Differential Transformer (LVDT) technology uses a movable nickel iron core and three coils to provide highly accurate and wear-free position sensing. The sensor requires a sine wave excitation and phase-sensitive detection to output signals directly proportional to core position, offering infinite resolution and exceptional linearity without introducing friction into the measured system.
