Eaton 278408 SDAINLM55(110V50HZ,120V60HZ) Star Delta Starter is a high-quality 30kW, 3 Phase motor starter operating at 110V AC designed to control three-phase induction motors by reducing starting current. It features robust IP55 protection suitable for industrial and commercial applications.

This starter consists of a main contactor, delta and star contactors, and an adjustable star delta timer allowing starting time configuration between 0 and 30 seconds. The open chassis design permits quick installation within customized enclosures and direct mounting onto 35mm DIN rails.

Conforming to IEC 947 standards, the Eaton starter is engineered using readily available components and is pre-wired for Eaton ZB32 thermal overload relays which offer sensitive single phasing protection.

Its construction offers protection against solid ingress greater than 12 mm, with an operating temperature range from -25 to +40 degrees Celsius, enabling reliable performance under various industrial environments.
