RS PRO 517-3709 Flanged Shielded Die Cast Aluminium Enclosure offers a robust solution for housing industrial and electronic equipment requiring EMI/RFI protection. With body and lid constructed from die cast aluminium alloy ADC 12, this enclosure provides high durability and thermal resistance up to 250°C. Its natural aluminium finish is plain without external coating, allowing optional powder painting if desired.
The enclosure dimensions are 30 mm height, 113.9 mm length including flanges, and 35.1 mm width. Mounting flanges are integrated at the bottom of the enclosure body, providing easy and secure wall mounting. The lid is silver coloured, lipped for a tight fit, and tapered at 1.5° per side to ensure effective EMI/RFI shielding, exceeding 40dB at 10MHz and 76dB at 100 kHz.
