RS PRO IP66 Silver Lid Die Cast Aluminium Enclosure, model IP66, measures 35.7 mm in height, 119.9 mm in length, and 100 mm in width. This shielded enclosure offers excellent EMI/RFI protection and an IP66 rating, ensuring dust-tight and water-resistant performance suitable for demanding industrial environments.

The enclosure body is constructed from robust ADC 12 die cast aluminium alloy, certified to BS1490 standards, providing high mechanical strength and thermal resistance up to 250°C. The silver-coloured lid incorporates a neoprene gasket sealed to withstand temperatures from -20°C to +80°C to maintain the enclosure's sealed environment.

Designed for versatility, the enclosure features internal PCB and vertical mounting guides, allowing secure assembly of internal components. The lid is tapered at 1.5° per side to ensure a tight fit with stainless steel M3.5 x 9 mm Supadrive countersunk screws, recommended to be tightened with 5.6 kg torque to maintain a secure and reliable seal.

The natural aluminium finish provides corrosion resistance and is suitable for additional powder coating to meet specific aesthetic or protective requirements. The enclosure is shielded to exceed 40dB EMI screening at 10 MHz and 76 dB at 100 kHz, making it ideal for applications sensitive to electromagnetic interference.
