The Hanna HI98131 is a handheld tester designed for accurate and efficient measurement of pH, conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS), and temperature. Its versatile design allows users to select EC-to-TDS conversion factors, making it ideal for laboratory, hydroponic, and field applications.
The HI98131 displays pH readings with a high resolution of 0.01 and an accuracy of ±0.05 pH, ensuring precise monitoring of solution acidity. EC and TDS measurements are displayed with 0.01 mS/cm and 10 ppm (mg/L) resolution, respectively, and an accuracy of ±2% full scale. The EC range extends from 0.01 to 6.00 mS/cm, while TDS meter readings range from 0 to 3000 ppm using a 0.5 conversion factor, or 0 to 3999 ppm with a 0.7 EC-to-TDS conversion factor. Temperature measurements complement the multi-parameter readings, providing comprehensive solution monitoring.

The HOLD button allows convenient recording of measurements, while the Battery Error Prevention System (BEPS) prevents low-battery inaccuracies.
