KEMET OHD1-125B SPST Through Hole Reed Switch with 300 mA current rating and 110 V ac/dc maximum switching voltage is engineered for thermal problem countermeasures and reliable switching applications.

This reed switch features a nickel iron alloy contact material providing long operational life and excellent environmental durability. It is part of the OHD Thermal Guard series which incorporates a magnet and temperature-sensitive Thermorite® material, whose magnetic flux density decreases with temperature, enabling usage in temperature detection and overheating monitoring.

The compact design measures 18 mm in length, 5.5 mm in width, and 5.6 mm in depth, with wire terminal type and through hole mount, making it lightweight and easy to handle. The switch operates reliably in a temperature range from -20°C to 150°C and supports a maximum switching power of 6 W with contact resistance of 150 mΩ.

Typical industrial applications include thermal monitoring in power transistors, power modules, heaters, amplifiers, motors, and various general appliances. It is dust, explosion, and corrosion-proof, suitable for harsh environments, and allows extremely simple circuit design.
