KEMET OHD3-100B SPST Through Hole Reed Switch is designed for precise switching applications up to 300 mA current and 110 V AC/DC voltage. The switch features a single-pole single-throw (SPST) contact configuration, providing reliable on/off functionality with a maximum switching power of 6 watts. Its contact material is made from nickel iron alloy, which ensures robustness and longevity even in demanding environments.

This through hole reed switch is mounted via tab leads, facilitating straightforward integration on printed circuit boards. It operates efficiently within a temperature range from -20°C to 150°C, making it suitable for harsh industrial conditions.

The OHD Thermal Guard series, to which this switch belongs, is developed specifically as a thermal problem countermeasure. It includes Thermorite®, a temperature-sensitive ferromagnetic material, which changes magnetic flux density with temperature changes, enhancing switch reliability at the Curie temperature.
