CE-TEK CEP121290PI is a high-quality black glass reinforced polyester (GRP) junction box specifically designed for hazardous area electrical installations requiring IECEx certification. Measuring 120mm in length, 90mm in width, and 122mm in height, this enclosure offers IP66 ingress protection to withstand harsh industrial environments.
Manufactured with anti-static graphite loaded black polyester, the CEP-PA series boxes comply with stringent EN 60079:2007 Ex e standards and are certified under IECEx certificate IECEx SIR 13.0039X. They are rated for temperature classes T6 (85°C) and T5 (100°C), making them suitable for a wide range of hazardous locations.
Each box comes pre-assembled with factory-fitted DIN rail mounted terminal blocks (TS35 DIN rail) for electrical connections. The enclosure is factory machined with multiple threaded cable apertures (M20 and M25) that include EX rated blanking plugs, allowing flexible cable entry while maintaining hazardous area integrity. An integrated punched earth continuity plate and M6 internal/external earth studs ensure effective grounding.
