CE-TEK CEP121290PA Junction Box is a high-quality black polyester GRP enclosure designed specifically for hazardous area electrical installations requiring ATEX certified equipment. It provides robust protection with an IP66 ingress rating, ensuring resistance against dust and powerful water jets. The junction box is pre-assembled with 10 numbered terminal connectors mounted on a TS35 DIN rail, facilitating efficient wiring and maintenance.
Manufactured from anti-static graphite loaded polyester, this junction box incorporates factory machined threaded cable entry holes compatible with M20 and M25 cable glands, supplied with EX rated blanking plugs to maintain enclosure integrity. An integrated and punched earth continuity plate along with internal and external M6 earth studs provide reliable grounding points in compliance with safety standards.
The enclosure is certified to ATEX standards (certificate no: SIRA08ATEX3213), meeting Ex e, Ex ia, and Ex ib requirements according to EN 60079:2007.
