Product Description
CE-TEK ACEX151590PA is a 316L stainless steel junction box engineered for installation in hazardous areas requiring ATEX compliance. The box features a robust construction with marine grade stainless steel finished with orbital graining to resist corrosion and harsh environments commonly found in industrial sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, and waste water treatment.
The junction box offers IP66 ingress protection, providing dust-tight sealing and protection against powerful water jets, ensuring reliability and safety in industrial and outdoor applications. It is pre-assembled with DIN rail mounted terminal connector blocks to simplify electrical wiring and installation.
Equipped with seven 4 mm² terminals and two 4 mm² earth terminals, mounted on a TS35 DIN rail, it supports effective and secure electrical connections. The housing is pre-punched with four M20/M25 cable gland entry apertures supplied with EX rated blanking plugs to maintain hazardous area integrity.
This junction box meets the EN 60079:2007 standards for increased safety (Ex e) certification and is certified to temperature classes T6 and T5, making it suitable for explosive atmospheres with temperature-sensitive requirements.
