Samtec ERF8 series straight surface PCB socket, model ERF8-010-05.0-L-DV-L-TR, is a rugged high-speed socket designed for board-to-board connectivity applications. It features 20 contacts arranged in 2 rows with a fine 0.8 mm pitch, enabling high-density mounting on printed circuit boards.

The socket supports a current rating of 2.2 A and voltage rating of 318 V, making it suitable for demanding electronics applications. Its contacts are made from beryllium copper alloy and plated with gold to provide excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance.

The housing constructed from liquid crystal polymer offers mechanical strength and high-temperature endurance, supporting operational temperatures ranging from -55°C to 125°C. The straight orientation and surface mount type ensure compatibility with standard PCB manufacturing processes.
