TE Connectivity 222K121-100/86-0 Heat Shrink Boot Right Angle is a high-performance cable protection solution designed for industrial, electrical, automation, and marine applications. Its Zerohal material composition ensures zero halogen emissions, making it ideal for use where fire hazard reduction is critical. The boot features adhesive backing to provide excellent sealing and strain relief on cables.
Designed to operate within a wide temperature range from -30°C to 150°C, it maintains integrity under harsh conditions. The shrink temperature is rated at 100°C for effective and reliable installation. This product has a single breakout and is engineered to provide reliable dielectric strength up to 15 MV/m, ensuring electrical insulation and safety.
The black-colored heat shrink boot is widely used in marine, transport, offshore, and other high-specification environments where low smoke and low toxicity emissions are required. It is compliant with RoHS standards and approved per DEF STAN 59/97 issue 3 Type DF, guaranteeing quality and safety for industrial use.
Its dimensions include a minimum inside diameter of 14 mm, maximum inside diameter of 24 mm, maximum shrunk diameter of 10.4 mm, and minimum shrunk diameter of 5.6 mm. This dimensional flexibility allows versatile application to various cable sizes.
Installation is simplified by the integrated adhesive backing, which provides enhanced bonding and sealing quality to prevent ingress of moisture and contaminants. While the boots can be used with compatible spin coupling backshells and other connectors with suitable rear mounting, it is important to note that sealant kits may not preserve the zero halogen properties of the boots.
The product supports a shrink temperature of 100°C, suitable for thermal stability. Made from Zero Halogen material for reduced fire hazard and low toxicity. The boot features one breakout for cable protection and sealing.
Operates effectively within a temperature range of -30°C to 150°C. Provides dielectric strength of 15 MV/m for enhanced electrical insulation. The black color and adhesive backing ensure easy installation and durability.
Approved to DEF STAN 59/97 issue 3 Type DF for high specification applications.
This heat shrink boot is ideal for industrial automation, marine wiring, electrical installations, and transportation systems where durability, fire safety, and cable reliability are paramount. Select TE Connectivity heat shrink boots for trusted quality in cable protection solutions.
