Product Description
TE Connectivity 202K142-100-0 Heat Shrink Boot is a high-performance straight boot made from LFH Polyolefin, specially engineered to meet stringent fire hazard reduction standards. It is widely used in marine, transport, offshore, and other demanding industrial environments where low smoke and zero halogen emissions are critical.
This heat shrink boot provides excellent protection with a dielectric strength of 15 MV/m and reliable sealing and strain relief for cable connections. It operates effectively across a wide temperature range, from -30°C minimum to 105°C maximum operating temperatures, and shrinks at 100°C.
The product supports a single breakout and features minimum inside diameter of 18 mm and maximum inside diameter of 31 mm. When shrunk, its minimum diameter is 7.1 mm and maximum shrunk diameter is 18 mm, allowing versatile cable fitting.
The boot meets DEF STAN 59/97 issue 3 Type DF approval, reflecting its suitability for applications requiring strict fire safety compliance. Its low smoke and low emission characteristics, as per NES711 and NES713 standards, help reduce hazards during fire incidents.
This product is compatible with spin coupling backshells and suitable for connectors that allow rear mounting. Note that using a sealant kit (stock no. 239-1516) with this boot may reduce the zero halogen properties.
