TE Connectivity 1-5745172-3 is an AMPLIMITE Series zinc straight D-Sub Backshell designed for 15 contact connectors. It features metallised zinc housing with bright nickel plating over bright copper, providing excellent EMI/RFI shielding and mechanical protection. This backshell provides effective strain relief for cable assemblies, making it suitable for industrial and electronic power connector applications.
The backshell is designed with a straight orientation to accommodate direct cable exits and features a robust strain relief mechanism to prevent cable damage under mechanical stress. The zinc alloy shields ensure durability while maintaining a lightweight profile. The AMPLIMITE series supports various shell sizes, with this model fitting the size A shell D-Sub connectors.
