Texas Instruments MAX3232ECD is a dual channel RS-232 line transceiver designed to meet or exceed TIA/EIA-232-F and ITU v.28 communication standards. It operates on a single supply voltage ranging from 3 V to 5.5 V, making it suitable for portable and embedded systems requiring RS-232 level translations.

This 16-pin SOIC surface mount device includes two line drivers and two line receivers, supporting data rates up to 1 Mbps, ideal for rapid serial communications. The integrated charge pump allows operation from low voltage supplies, eliminating the need for dual power rails.
