Product Description
Power Integrations LCS708HG is an advanced AC/DC converter integrated circuit designed for high-efficiency offline power supply implementations. It utilizes the HiperLCS family LLC Half Bridge topology to provide a compact and efficient power conversion solution with performance up to 440 Watts.
This device incorporates two power MOSFETs in a half-bridge configuration along with multi-function controller circuitry, including high-side and low-side gate drivers, enabling reduced external components and simplified printed circuit board layouts. The device is packaged in a 16-pin eSIP-16J through-hole form factor, making it suitable for industrial, commercial, and HVAC power supply applications.
The LCS708HG supports a wide input voltage range of 11.4V to 15V and delivers a maximum output voltage of 530V with a continuous maximum output current of 30.9A. It features programmable brown-in/out thresholds with hysteresis, under-voltage and over-voltage protection, programmable over-current protection, short-circuit detection, and over-temperature shutdown, ensuring robust and reliable operation in demanding environments.
Operating temperature range extends from -40°C to +150°C, accommodating harsh industrial conditions. The maximum operating switching frequency is 1 MHz, with steady-state operation nominally up to 500 kHz, which enables reduced power loss and compact magnetics design.
