Product Description
PR Electronics 5437A1S single input temperature transmitter operates with a 48V supply voltage and supports a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 80°C. Designed for demanding industrial and process control environments, it converts multiple input sensor types into a standardized 4-20 mA output signal suitable for real-time temperature monitoring.
The transmitter accepts two, three, or four wire RTDs, thermocouples, linear resistance, potentiometer, and bipolar mV inputs up to 100 kΩ. Sensor redundancy enhances process availability by allowing secondary sensors to maintain operation in case the primary sensor fails, with fault alerts transmitted through the HART protocol for predictive maintenance.
Installation is simplified with an innovative housing that permits wiring from inside or outside terminal access and a large central mounting hole compatible with a range of probe diameters. Loop test pins enable direct current measurements without interrupting process control loops, and an onboard LED indicates operational faults according to NAMUR NE44 and NE107 standards.
High galvanic isolation up to 2.5 kVAC protects against electrical disturbances, supporting robust industrial operation. Supports thermocouples, RTDs, and resistance inputs with flexible sensor compatibility. 4-20 mA analog output with HART 5 and 7 digital communication options.
