MikroElektronika MIKROE-2501 Temperature Sensor Sensor Development Tool MikroBus Click Board integrates the Microchip MCP9600 thermocouple IC and a type K thermocouple socket to provide precise temperature measurements ranging from -200 to +1372 °C depending on the thermocouple used. It features cold junction compensation and linearization circuitry with up to 18-bit resolution to ensure highly accurate readings.
This development tool operates with either a 3.3V or 5V power supply and communicates with target microcontrollers via the mikroBUS™ I2C interface, making it highly versatile for embedded applications. The board also includes four programmable alert outputs, allowing users to set predefined temperature alarms for safety and monitoring.
Energy efficiency is supported by low power and shut-down modes, allowing integration in battery-powered or low-energy devices. The click board comes with header strips pre-soldered for quick and secure installation on a compatible mikroBUS™ socket.
