Fibox PCT 233009 ENCLOSURE is a grey polycarbonate general purpose enclosure with a silver lid, designed to provide robust protection for electronic and electrical components. The enclosure measures 87mm in external height, 300mm in length, and 230mm in width. Featuring an IP66 and IP67 ingress protection rating, it ensures resistance against dust and water ingress, while the IK08 rating guarantees impact resistance suitable for demanding industrial environments.

The enclosure body is made of high-quality polycarbonate material that offers excellent UV stability, halogen-free composition, and strong chemical resistance. The PUR gasket is robotically applied and foamed in place, providing superior sealing against environmental contaminants. Stainless steel cover screws are captive, corrosion resistant, and tighten securely in four revolutions, facilitating quick assembly and maintenance.

Its design incorporates multiple low height mounting points and mounting holes positioned outside the gasket to preserve the waterproof seal. The outer surfaces are free from gate marks, offering smooth areas ideal for labels, decals, or screen printing. The bevelled edge design contributes to a modern aesthetic look and adds mechanical strength to the enclosure edges.

This enclosure is suitable for housing DIN rail mounted terminal blocks, test and measurement instrumentation, medical tools, transportation equipment, industrial controls, and lighting applications. It is compliant with various regional standards including NEMA types 1, 4, 4X, 12, and 13 for USA, ULc for Canada, EN 50298:1998 and EN 60950 for Europe, and AS 3132-1991 for Australia. The product is made in Finland and is halogen-free with a UL 94 V flammability rating.
