Built with FR4 epoxy glass fabric laminate, the board achieves high insulation and structural integrity required in professional laboratory and industrial setups. Its 300 mm length and 233 mm width ensure compatibility with standard Eurocard formats, while a board thickness of 40 mm further contributes to its mechanical stability.

The board is equipped with DIN 41612 type B connectors, offering dependable connections suitable for PC and VME bus architectures. Gold-plated edge connector fingers (1.5 microns) minimize contact resistance and support stable signal transmission. Solder resist coating on both sides prevents solder bridging and finger staining, maintaining clear test points and efficient operation.

The colander ground plane on the component side maximizes electromagnetic compatibility and preserves circuit integrity during signal transfers.

This Eurocard extender board is supplied with support/eject mechanisms and terminal assemblies. These features allow terminal pads on each connector track for efficient attachment of test probes, typically used for voltage and signal measurement during debugging and validation.
