The RIGOL RSA5000 Series Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer, available in RSA5032, RSA5032-TG, RSA5032N, RSA5065, RSA5065-TG, and RSA5065N models, is designed for advanced RF signal analysis, wireless-device development, EMI diagnostics, electronic manufacturing, and laboratory research. Powered by RIGOL’s UltraReal technology, the series combines swept and real-time spectrum analysis for detecting transient, frequency-hopping, and short-duration signals.

The RSA5032 models cover frequencies from 9 kHz to 3.2 GHz, while the RSA5065 models extend frequency coverage from 9 kHz to 6.5 GHz. The series provides a standard real-time analysis bandwidth of 25 MHz, expandable to 40 MHz with an optional upgrade. A 7.45 μs 100% probability of intercept helps reliably capture and analyse brief RF signal events.

Frequency-mask triggering allows engineers to build a signal template and trigger on events that meet specific conditions. This functionality is useful for locating interference, unexpected transmissions, spectrum anomalies, and other intermittent RF events that may be difficult to identify using conventional swept-spectrum analysis.

Optional EMI pre-compliance software and CISPR-compatible filters support conducted and radiated emissions testing before formal compliance assessment. Optional vector signal analysis supports digital modulation formats such as QAM, PSK, MSK, ASK, and FSK, with visualisation through constellation diagrams, eye diagrams, spectrograms, and demodulated data.

Models with the TG designation include a tracking generator for measuring filters, amplifiers, cables, attenuators, and other RF components. The N models combine spectrum analysis, tracking-generator functionality, and vector network analysis for S11, S21, and distance-to-fault measurements.

The 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen provides convenient control of frequency, amplitude, bandwidth, trace, trigger, marker, and measurement settings. HDMI output supports connection to a larger display, while USB, LAN, web control, and remote-operation features allow integration with automated laboratory and production systems.
