The Hanna HI4108 is a solid state, combination ion-selective electrode (ISE) for the determination of cupric ions (Cu2+) in solution. The mixed cupric sulfide/silver sulfide sensing pellet produces a potential change due to the cupric ion exchange between the inorganic pellet membrane and the sample. The internal sensing elements are housed within a durable polyetherimide (PEI) body. The HI4108 is ideal for a variety of applications in plating, wastewater, and industrial processes.

The HI4108 features a mixed cupric sulfide/silver sulfide sensing pellet that generates a stable potential through cupric ion exchange between the inorganic membrane and the sample. This ensures responsive and consistent measurements, even at low copper concentrations, providing accurate and reproducible analytical results. Its solid-state design eliminates the need for internal filling solutions, reducing maintenance and simplifying operation.
