Product Description
The HI4115 Silver/Sulfide Combination Ion-Selective Electrode (ISE) is a solid-state sensor designed for laboratory and industrial measurement of silver (Ag+) and sulfide (S2−) ions in aqueous solutions. Its robust polyetherimide (PEI) body provides excellent durability in harsh environments and chemical resistance, making this electrode suitable for demanding laboratory and field applications.
Featuring a skirted cone geometry for optimal sample immersion and a silver/silver sulfide sensing pellet, the HI4115 accurately responds to changes in ion concentration by facilitating ion exchange at the membrane interface. The sensing elements are protected within the PEI structure, and the electrode is supplied with a 1 m coaxial cable terminated in a standard BNC connector, ensuring compatibility with most laboratory meters.
Measurement capabilities include a wide detection range:
• Silver (Ag+): 0.11 to 107,900 mg/L
• Sulfide (S2−): 0.003 to 32,100 mg/L
- Optimal pH range for silver measurements is 2 to 8.
- For sulfide, the effective pH range is 12 to 14.
- Temperature operating range is 0 to 80 °C, making it useful in various environmental and process settings.
- The body measures 120 mm in length with a 12 mm outer diameter, suitable for standard lab glassware and sample containers.
