It complies with ASTM D1322, the standard test method for determining kerosene smoke points. The flame height variations are displayed against a millimeter ruler as the sample burns in the standard lamp. Our Smoke Point Tester measures the relative smoke-producing properties of kerosene in a diffusion flame.
