STMicroelectronics Power Management Evaluation Board for SRK2001 LLC Resonant Converters STEVAL-ISA165V1

STMicroelectronics STEVAL-ISA165V1 is a specialized power management evaluation board developed for testing and demonstrating the SRK2001 synchronous rectification controller in LLC resonant converter applications. This board supports transformers with center-tap secondary windings for efficient full-wave rectification.

The SRK2001 controller implemented on this board uses adaptive algorithms that precisely control the turn-on and turn-off phases of synchronous rectifier MOSFETs. The evaluation board provides two separate high-current gate-drive outputs enabling optimal power MOSFET switching, reducing power losses and improving overall efficiency.

An integrated interlock logic circuit prevents both synchronous rectifier MOSFETs from conducting simultaneously, protecting the board from potential damage. Furthermore, a Zero Crossing Detector (ZCD_OFF) comparator enables swift MOSFET turn-off during fast load changes or conditions operating above resonance to ensure robust and reliable performance.
