STMicroelectronics HVLED007TR is a 5 output display driver LED driver designed for high power factor isolated flyback converters operated in transition mode (quasi-resonant operation). This device delivers a maximum output power of 100 W and a driver current of 5.5 mA, making it suitable for advanced LED lighting systems requiring efficient power management.
The device operates over an input voltage range of 10.5 V to 22.5 V and features a surface mount design with solder terminal type. It supports a LED voltage range from 0 to 1.5 V and dissipates power efficiently at 0.65 W, ensuring reliability and thermal management.
HVLED007TR includes a special Input Current Shaper (ICS) circuit that enables the flyback converter to draw a near-sinusoidal input current with very low total harmonic distortion (THD), less than 10% at full load. It provides extended temperature range operation down to -40 °C while maintaining guaranteed electrical specifications.
The device supports a control input for isolated control loop regulation via phototransistor input and can be adapted for primary-regulated voltage loop control with minimal external circuitry, enhancing design flexibility.
