RS PRO 902-8290 3 Core Power Cable features solid copper conductors each insulated with colour-coded Polyvinyl Chloride for clear identification, housed within a durable, mechanically tough PVC outer jacket. This power cable is designed for fixed wiring applications indoors and outdoors, with a nominal voltage rating of 600/1000V (1kV) and an operating temperature range from -5 °C to 70 °C, ensuring reliable performance under various environmental conditions.
Its flame retardant properties meet IEC 60332-1 and EN 50265-2-1 standards, providing enhanced safety by limiting fire propagation. The cable's robust construction provides resistance to abrasion, UV exposure, and corrosion, making it ideal for industrial plants, transformer stations, metropolitan networks, and electrical power plants.
The cable is suitable for direct burial underground, embedding in brickwork or concrete (without vibration or compression), and can be temporarily submerged underwater for up to two weeks.
