Vishay V10PW12HM3/I Schottky Barrier Rectifier is a high current density surface-mount rectifier designed with trench MOS barrier Schottky technology, delivering very low forward voltage drop and high efficiency operation. Housed in a low-profile TO-252 surface mount package, this diode is ideal for automated pick-and-place assembly processes.
It supports a maximum continuous forward current of 10 A and a peak reverse repetitive voltage of 120 V. With an operating temperature range from -65°C up to 150°C, it is suitable for demanding industrial, automotive, construction, and electronics manufacturing applications, such as in DC/DC converters, freewheeling diodes, and polarity protection circuits.
The rectifier's peak non-repetitive forward surge current is rated at 180 A, enabling it to handle transient surges efficiently. It complies with RoHS directives, ensuring environmental safety and regulatory compliance.
The device meets MSL level 1 per J-STD-020, with a peak lead-free soldering temperature of 260°C, supporting robust manufacturing standards. An automotive-grade variant is available with AEC-Q101 qualification, enhancing reliability for automotive electronics.
Low forward voltage drop reduces power dissipation during conduction. Trench MOS Schottky technology enhances switching speed and efficiency. TO-252 package design permits compact PCB layouts. Wide operating temperature supports use in harsh environments.
Automotive qualification available, increasing application versatility.
This Vishay Schottky diode is broadly used in electronic power management, industrial power supplies, and automotive systems, demonstrating robustness in high-frequency and low-voltage applications.
