RS PRO 725-5575 Star Delta Starter is an 11 kW, three-phase motor starter operating on 400V AC designed specifically for controlling the starting current of motors efficiently. The star delta starting method allows motors to start at a lower voltage, reducing inrush current, which is advantageous when motors start frequently or intermittently. This starter consists of three heavy-duty contacts, a timer for switching between star and delta configurations, and robust thermal overload protection capability (overload relay sold separately).
