Weidmüller 8731700000 W Series disconnect terminal block is engineered for dependable electrical connections in industrial, manufacturing, and electronic applications. It features a beige nylon 6.6 housing with a continuous temperature rating of 120°C, capable of short-term heat resistance up to 180°C. The terminal uses screw clamp termination technology with a clamping yoke design, ensuring robust wire retention.
This 1-level terminal block supports conductors with cross sectional area of 2.5mm² and wire sizes from AWG 30 up to AWG 12. Rated for continuous current of 24A and maximum voltage of 500V, it is suitable for mounting on standardized symmetric ‘Top Hat’ DIN rails meeting BS5584:1978 and EN 50022.
Material selection includes self-extinguishing nylon free from cadmium and halogen, compliant with UL94V-0 flame retardant standards. The internal current bars are constructed from high-quality 10 mm electrolytic copper providing excellent current carrying capabilities and longevity.
