RS PRO IP65 Direct-On-Line (DOL) Motor Starter, model IP65, is designed for industrial and commercial applications requiring reliable motor starting for 3-phase, 230V AC motors up to 11 kW power rating. This surface mount motor starter features a moulded plastic case engineered to provide IP65 ingress protection, ensuring dust-tight and water-resistant performance suitable for demanding environments.
Compliant with IEC/EN 60947-1 and IEC/EN 60947-4-1 standards, this motor starter supports a current rating range of 17 to 23 amperes across 3 poles and 3 phases. Its compact dimensions (225mm length, 110mm width, 148mm depth) make it suitable for electrical enclosures and control panels with space constraints.
The operating temperature range of -25°C to +60°C allows versatile deployment in varied industrial climate conditions. The device is available in versions with or without isolators; starters without isolators offer space to add a 17.5mm wide auxiliary module such as a timer, level control, or monitoring relay, enhancing control flexibility.
