Hirst Magnetics GM07 battery operated gaussmeter provides precise measurement of DC, AC, and peak magnetic fields across a frequency range of 15 Hz to 10,000 Hz. Featuring a microprocessor-controlled, menu-driven interface and graphical monochrome LCD display, the instrument allows easy selection of operating units including Amps/meter, Gauss, Oersteds, and Tesla.

The device is compatible with both transverse and axial probes, enabling accurate measurement of magnetic flux density in diverse industrial and laboratory environments. The transverse probe is ideal for measuring air gaps between magnetic poles, with the sensor on the horizontal axis, while the axial probe measures fields at the probe's flat end.

Designed for durability and usability, the GM07 operates on AA batteries with 15 hours of life and supports RS232 and USB connections for data transfer and PC control. It has an operating temperature range of 0°C to 50°C and weighs only 430 grams, making it portable for on-site measurements.
