RS PRO IP66 Silver Silver Lid Die Cast Aluminium Enclosure IP66 is engineered with durable die cast aluminium alloy ADC 12, providing excellent mechanical strength and a natural finish without external coatings. It is designed to offer superior EMI/RFI shielding, with a lipped lid achieving more than 40 dB screening at 10 MHz and 76 dB at 100 kHz.
The enclosure measures 30.3 mm in height, 114.5 mm in length, and 63.6 mm in width, making it suitable for housing various sensitive electronic and industrial equipment. It includes neoprene gasket seal ensuring protection to IP66 standards, safeguarding against dust ingress and powerful water jets.
This enclosure is capable of withstanding high temperatures up to 250°C without affecting the aluminium structure. The lid is fastened securely using M3.5 x 9 mm Supadrive countersunk stainless steel screws, with recommended tightening torque of 5.6 kg, ensuring a tight fit and reliable sealing.
