RS PRO 517-4437 is a high-quality Silver Lid Shielded Die Cast Aluminium Enclosure designed for protecting sensitive industrial and electronic equipment. This enclosure offers superior EMI/RFI shielding, making it ideal for applications requiring electrical noise protection in demanding environments.
Made from die cast aluminium alloy ADC 12, this enclosure is robust and able to withstand temperatures up to 250°C, providing excellent thermal resistance without affecting its structural integrity. Its natural silver finish is uncoated, allowing for optional powder painting as desired.
The lid features a lipped design with a tapered 1.5° angle per side that ensures a tight and precise fit to the base. Secure fastening is provided by M3.5 x 9 mm Supadrive countersunk stainless steel screws, placed outside the enclosure's internal space for convenience and protection.
Measuring 106.5 mm in height, 222.2 mm in length, and 146 mm in width, the enclosure is shielded for effective EMI/RFI protection, achieving better than 40dB screening at 10 MHz and 76dB at 100 kHz.
