Product Description
RS PRO IP65 Flanged Silver Lid Die Cast Aluminium Enclosure is a shielded, high-quality aluminium enclosure suitable for electrical, industrial, and automation applications requiring robust EMI and RFI protection. It features a natural aluminium finish without external coating and withstands temperatures up to 250°C, ensuring stability and durability under demanding conditions.
The enclosure dimensions are 55.2 mm in height, 139.8 mm in length, and 89.7 mm in width, inclusive of mounting flanges. The built-in flanged base facilitates convenient wall or panel mounting. Manufactured using die cast aluminium alloy ADC 12 (equivalent to LM24 to BS1490), the enclosure offers excellent screening with a lipped lid design providing greater than 40 dB shielding at 10 MHz and 76 dB at 100 kHz frequencies.
The lid is secured tightly to the base with a 1.5° taper per side and fastened via M3.5 x 9 mm Supadrive countersunk stainless steel screws, ensuring reliable mechanical and shielding integrity. No adhesive seal is included, but the design ensures a close fitting enclosure suitable for sensitive electrical equipment protection.
This enclosure meets RoHS standards and is produced in Taiwan, Province Of China. Its natural aluminium finish is plain and powder paint compatible, allowing for custom surface finishes.
