IDEM 208026 K-SS-Ex Safety Interlock Switch with stainless steel 316 housing and keyed actuator is designed for hazardous area applications requiring explosion-proof safety interlocking. The switch features a robust tamper-resistant keyed mechanism and positively operated switching contacts compliant with IEC 60947-5-1. It includes one normally open contact and a rotatable stainless steel 316 head offering 4 actuator entry directions for flexible installation. The device withstands harsh environments with IP67 and IP69K protection, resisting pressure washdowns and chemical exposure.
Operating across a temperature range from -25°C to 80°C, the switch meets international safety standards such as EN60204-1, EN1088, UL508, ISO13849-1, and EN62061.
