Product Description

The Cinch FA-25PS/1 25-Way D-Sub Adapter is a high-specification filtered adapter designed to improve electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) by minimizing electromagnetic interference (EMI) in telecom and related applications. It features a straight orientation and through-hole mount type supporting secure installations.

This adapter incorporates integral discrete capacitive elements including 1000pF ceramic capacitors that provide effective filtration against EMI and RFI interference, enhancing system stability in VHF and UHF bands. The plug and socket interface is strengthened with a 4.40 UNC female screwlock to ensure reliable mechanical connection.

The backshell is made of steel with a bright tin finish for high shielding effectiveness against RFI/EMI. Its robust potted construction allows it to be used safely in hazardous environments. Contact materials consist of copper alloy with gold-plated turned pin contacts that ensure excellent contact reliability and resistance to corrosion.
