TE Connectivity 55A1121-24-0/9-9 is a high-performance Hook Up Wire from the 55A Series featuring a black and white ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) jacket, with a 36 AWG cross-sectional area and a 24 AWG American Wire Gauge designation. It includes 19 strands of 36 AWG copper conductors and a total cable length of 100 meters. This wire is engineered for demanding industrial, aerospace, and military applications requiring high temperature resistance and mechanical durability.
The wire insulation employs a modified radiation cross-linked ETFE polymer that offers a dual wall Airframe construction with a total wall thickness of 0.25 mm. The contrasting core color (blue) acts as a damage indicator, enhancing safety during installation and maintenance. The cable is rated for a maximum operating temperature of 150°C and a minimum of -65°C, with a voltage rating of 600 volts.
Its ethylene tetrafluoroethylene jacket is flame retardant and compliant with MIL STD 681 standards, making it suitable for commercial wiring, avionics, satellites, aircraft, helicopters, and high-performance military systems. The wire exhibits excellent resistance to chemicals, electrical arc tracking, abrasion, UV light, and moisture degradation, ensuring longevity and reliable operation in harsh environments.
The TE Connectivity 55A Series wire is designed to provide exceptional shop handling, scrape abrasion resistance, and flexibility while maintaining ultra-lightweight and small size features that are critical in high-density wiring applications. This product is ideal for use in industrial automation, aerospace wiring, and other critical electrical projects requiring stringent safety and performance standards.
Insulated with modified radiation cross-linked ETFE polymer for superior durability. Dual wall construction with damage indicator core color for enhanced safety. Maximum operating temperature of 150°C and voltage rating of 600V.
Flame retardant ethylene tetrafluoroethylene jacket ensures safety compliance. Contains 19 strands of 36 AWG copper conductor for excellent conductivity. Complies with MIL STD 681 fluoropolymer insulation standard. Exceptional resistance to chemicals, electrical arc tracking, UV, and moisture.
