KEMET OHD1-75B SPST Through Hole Reed Switch designed for reliable switching up to 300 mA current and 110 V AC/DC voltage rating. It features a compact, lightweight form factor with through-hole mounting and wire terminals.

This reed switch is part of the OHD Thermal Guard Series developed to counter thermal problems by integrating a magnet and a temperature-sensing ferromagnetic substance called Thermorite®. The magnetic flux density decreases with rising temperature, enabling thermal monitoring applications.

The device offers high reliability for on/off operations, high-speed response, and long operational life. It supports a wide operating temperature range from -20°C to 150°C, ensuring excellent environmental durability in demanding industrial conditions.

Nickel Iron Alloy contacts deliver a low contact resistance of 150 mΩ and are corrosion-resistant. The switch sustains compatibility for extremely low power signals (as low as 0.1 mW) and up to 6 W of maximum switching power, allowing extremely simple circuit designs.

This reed switch is dust, explosion, and corrosion-proof, making it suitable for use in industrial, laboratory, HVAC, manufacturing, and commercial applications, including atmospheric temperature detection and overheating monitoring of power transistors, power modules, room heaters, motors, hard disk drives, floppy disk drives, amplifiers, and other appliances.
