Product Description
RS PRO 847-1040 Type K Mineral Insulated Thermocouple is engineered for accurate and durable temperature measurement in demanding industrial and automation environments. It features a 250 mm long probe with a 3 mm diameter sheath crafted from corrosion-resistant 310 stainless steel, ensuring robust protection against oxidation and environmental damage.
This thermocouple is mineral insulated using compacted magnesium oxide powder, which provides excellent electrical insulation while enabling rapid heat transfer for fast response times. The flexible mineral insulated sheath can be bent and formed to accommodate complex installation configurations.
The Type K thermocouple follows ANSI MC96.1 international standards and incorporates an insulated hot junction design to minimize electrical interference and deliver stable sensor output even in electrically noisy conditions.
