MikroElektronika MIKROE-3015 Opto 2 Click LoRa Module is a specialized galvanic isolator Click board™, designed to provide optical isolation of sensitive microcontroller pins while communicating over LoRa at frequencies up to 8 GHz. It utilizes high-speed TLP2770 optocouplers requiring very low current, as low as 1.3 mA, to deliver efficient signal isolation and protection.

This module supports high data transfer rates of up to 20 Mbps (typical NRZ format), making it suitable for communication lines in industrial and automation contexts such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Battery Management Systems (BMS), and Industrial Inverters. The reinforced isolation voltage rating of 5000 Vrms ensures robust separation between external signals and controller logic, safeguarding sensitive electronics.

Operating from a supply voltage range of 2.7 to 5.5 V and drawing a maximum supply current of 0.4 mA, the device is highly efficient and low power. Designed for harsh environments, it withstands operating temperatures from -40 to 125 °C. The SO6L package layout allows for streamlined integration onto custom PCBs.
