RS PRO 180-8086 is a 5.5 V RGB LED 3535 surface mount device integrating control and light emitting circuits inside a compact 3535 package. This intelligent LED is based on the SK6182 standard device and features an internal constant current source and high precision RC oscillator, ensuring stable brightness and color accuracy.

The LED employs a unipolar NRZ communication mode where 24-bit data is transmitted from a controller to the first LED, internally latched and amplified, then cascaded to remaining LEDs, allowing for unlimited LED chaining limited only by signal speed. The device supports 256-level grey scale adjustments and enhanced red drive control for balanced colors. The lens is clear white and sized 3.7 x 3.5 x 0.95 mm with a rectangular shape, mounted on the surface as tape and reel packaging, facilitating automated production assembly lines.
