Product Description
PR Electronics 5437D2 is a high-performance temperature transmitter designed for industrial process control with PT100 sensor input. It converts temperature measurements into a stable 4 - 20 mA output signal with exceptional accuracy and reliability.
This transmitter supports dual input functionality, able to measure one or two sensors simultaneously with individual error detection, ensuring continuous operation even in case of sensor failure by switching to a backup sensor seamlessly.
The 5437D2 operates over a wide input temperature range from -200°C to 850°C and is guaranteed reliable within an ambient operating range of -50°C to 85°C. Its 44 mm diameter and 20.2 mm depth housing allow flexible installation over various probe sizes. It is designed for hazardous environments with certifications including Ex, ATEX and complies with stringent NE 21 and NE 43 standards.
Supports PT100 and multiple sensor types including thermocouples, linear resistance, potentiometers, and bipolar mV signals. Advanced sensor redundancy maintains process safety and availability by switching to backup sensors automatically.
LED status indicator provides visual notification on sensor, transmitter and loop condition consistent with NAMUR standards. High galvanic isolation up to 2.5 kVAC prevents ground loops and protects against voltage transients.
