Fibox PC 081209 ENCLOSURE Grey Polycarbonate Enclosure features IP67 and IP66 ingress protection with external dimensions of 85 mm height, 120 mm length, and 80 mm width. This unshielded, grey-coloured enclosure is manufactured in Finland with polycarbonate body material ensuring strong, electrically insulated protection.

The enclosure is designed for mounting electrical and electronic components, offering robust protection for a variety of industrial applications including test and measurement instrumentation, medical tools, transportation equipment, industrial controls, and lighting applications. Its smooth outer surface, free from gate marks, is ideal for labels or screen printing, enhancing identification and aesthetics.

The enclosure includes a robotically applied foamed-in-place PUR gasket combined with stainless steel cover screws, providing watertight seals compliant with EN60529 standards. Cover screws fully tighten within four revolutions and are held captive for ease of maintenance, while injection moulded plastic threads resist corrosion, ensuring longevity of the fastening system.

The bevelled edge design and decorative cover plugs lend a modern, finished look. Multiple low-height mounting points maximize internal usable depth, and the mounting holes are placed outside the gasket area to maintain water tightness. The enclosure carries an impact resistance rating of IK07 according to EN 50102, and it is halogen-free, UV resistant, and exhibits good chemical resistance. The unit is certified to UL945V flammability rating.
