Seeit VERYPRO-598 is a universal chip programmer designed for programming microcontrollers, logic devices, memory devices and programmable logic devices (PLDs). It features a USB 2.0 interface and a ZIF48 socket supporting DIP packages from 8 to 48 pins.

This device supports more than 22,000 components covering a wide range of EPROMs, parallel and serial EEPROMs, FLASH memory, popular microcontrollers such as AT90Sxxxx, ATmega, PIC series and a variety of PLDs. The programmer includes auto-detection and testing capabilities for inserted EPROMs and logic components.

The programmer supports low voltage devices down to 1.8V and includes pin contact protection to safeguard components. It eliminates the need for external adapters when programming standard SDIP packages and supports universal DIP, PLCC, QFP, TSOP, PSOP, SOIC, SSOP, SDIP adapters covering 6 to 300 pin device packages.

The software suite is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10, both 32-bit and 64-bit editions. It accepts a wide range of standard file formats including JEDEC, Intel HEX, HIMEM, Motorola S-record, binary, and Tektronix formats. Advanced features include test vector capability, multi-array fuse map editing, and optimized programming algorithms.
